Autism is a holistic disorder of child development. This means that the affected children have symptoms of malfunction in all areas of development. The first symptoms of autism appear very early, often in several months of infants, but they are always visible before the child reaches the age of 3. Although autism can be diagnosed in very young children, it is often diagnosed in adolescents and even adults. Not treated can lead to very deep functional disorders at a later age. It is worth remembering that autistic disorders have a very diverse character, do not form a uniform image as to the symptomatology and depth of the disorder.

Feeding camel milk as an alternative treatment for autism has not been clinically confirmed but has not been completely disregarded. There were many unscientific methods of healing miracles that were later condemned by scientists, but feeding camels with autistic children is certainly not one of them. In fact, in 2013, a study was published in a journal called "Complementary and alternative medicine based on evidence", which found that autistic children fed camel milk scored more points compared to children with autism who were fed with cow's milk on a scale CARS (Childhood Autism Rating Scale).
   Researchers who conducted the study found that autistic children fed camel milk showed significantly less molecular damage compared to autistic children who were given cow's milk. In conclusion, the researchers also found that camel milk as an alternative treatment mechanism for children may have a tendency to reduce oxidative stress in children with autism and therefore may improve autistic behavior.
    Compared to cow's milk, camel milk is definitely a better alternative because it is easily digestible and therefore does not damage the sensitive brain of an autistic child.
